Covering the whole of the North West
Design, installation, servicing and repair of sprinkler and drip irrigation systems across the North West — for family gardens, commercial grounds and sports turf. 14 years of getting it right first time.
From a single planted border to a full sports pitch — designed, installed, serviced and repaired by the same team.
Fully designed and installed systems for gardens and grounds of any size.
Leaks, dead zones, broken heads and controller faults — fixed fast.
Annual spring start-up and winter blow-down to protect your investment.
Schools, sports clubs, hotels, care homes and landscaped estates.
Precision watering for beds, borders, planters and greenhouses.
Water from your phone, and never water in the rain again.
We started North West Irrigation Services in 2012 with one van and a simple idea: install irrigation properly, explain it plainly, and stand behind it afterwards. That approach is why so much of our work still comes from recommendations.
Today we look after gardens, hotel grounds, care homes, schools and sports clubs right across the North West — and we still answer the phone ourselves.
More about our storyEven coverage, zone by zone
Sized against your real water pressure — not guesswork.
Based in Merseyside, working across the North West. When something needs looking at, we're a short drive away — not a call centre.
Every system is sized against your actual water pressure and flow. That's why ours cover evenly instead of leaving dry corners.
You get the price before we start, in writing, with the specification alongside it. What we quote is what you pay.
Public liability cover for domestic and commercial work, and WRAS-compliant backflow protection where it's required.
We fit commercial-grade heads, valves and controllers that we can still get spares for in ten years' time.
Annual servicing, winter blow-downs and spring start-ups. Look after a system properly and it will run for decades.
We visit, measure your water pressure and flow rate, and walk the site with you to understand what you want it to do.
You get a zone-by-zone design and a fixed written price. No hourly rates creeping up, no vague estimates.
Turf is lifted and relaid rather than dug out. We work tidily, protect your planting and clear up properly.
We set the programme with you, show you the controller, and stay on hand for servicing and winterisation.
Based in Liverpool and working across the region. If your town isn’t listed, ask anyway — we almost certainly cover it.
It depends on the size of the area, how many zones it needs and the water supply available. A typical domestic garden system starts in the low thousands; small border or planter systems cost considerably less. We give a fixed written quotation after a free site survey, so there are no surprises.
We cover the whole of the North West, including Liverpool, Wirral, Chester, Warrington, St Helens, Southport, Manchester, Bolton and the surrounding towns. If you're just outside, ask anyway — we often travel further for larger projects.
No. We use a trenching method that lifts and relays turf rather than digging it out. There is a visible seam for a few weeks while it knits back together, and after that you would struggle to tell where we worked.
Yes — a large part of our work is taking on systems installed by others. We'll trace the existing pipework and wiring, tell you honestly what condition it's in, and quote for repair rather than replacement wherever repair is the sensible option.
Yes. Water left in the pipes expands when it freezes and cracks them, which is the single most common cause of expensive spring repairs. We offer a compressed-air blow-down each autumn and a recommissioning visit each spring.
Restrictions vary by water company and by the type of system. Drip and micro irrigation is often still permitted when overhead sprinklers are not, because it uses far less water. We'll advise on what applies to your supplier and design accordingly.
Most domestic systems are installed in one to three days. Larger commercial and sports-turf projects are programmed in advance and phased so the site stays usable throughout.
Yes. Our workmanship carries a 12-month guarantee and the components we install carry their own manufacturer warranties, which we register on your behalf. We're fully insured for both domestic and commercial work.
